Dr. Jose Guerra Chico was born in Cuba, where he attended school and completed his first dental degree in 2007. He practiced general dentistry for three years before moving to New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and graduated with his DMD degree. Dr. Guerra relocated to Florida in 2015, where he attended a one-year comprehensive implant training with Implant Educators, a program through the University of Florida.
As a dentist, Dr. Guerra’s philosophy is to educate patients and diagnose and treat dental problems as they arise instead of waiting for them to pose more serious complications. He is a firm believer in preventive dentistry but is comfortable working in all aspects of general and cosmetic care.
Outside the office, Dr. Guerra is passionate about human migration, music history, and good food. He loves animals and spending time in the sun, and can usually be found spending his free time outside!
